Vecova’s helping bring hockey without barriers to Alberta!
Variety – The Children’s Charity of Alberta will be facilitating Volt Hockey at Vecova. Volt Hockey is a unique adaptation to the sport, which allows those who have complex needs to be able to play. Vecova is providing the space to Variety Alberta at a reduced rate, to help them get this exciting program going and to help make the program sustainable. “Vecova is excited to partner with great organizations like Variety Alberta to create inclusive opportunities and bring accessible and engaging activities to the community,” Tom Naested, Director of Wellness Services, said. “Programs like these are invaluable for removing barriers and increasing the health and well-being of people of all abilities.” More information will be available in the New Year.
