Vecova’s Employment Services is excited to welcome back consumers, employers, community partners and Vecova team members to our first DEAM (Disability Employment Awareness Month) event in three years. We are proud to highlight the employment accomplishments of consumers in both our Adult and Youth programs.

Consumers will be presenting their employment information and showcasing their skills and abilities at this celebratory event at Vecova. October 1 marks the start of Disability Employment Awareness (DEAM) month across Canada and in Alberta. DEAM celebrates, educates, raises awareness and promotes employment inclusion within the job market for people with disabilities. Persons with disabilities face barriers to employment and each year DEAM provides an opportunity for employers, people with disabilities, service providers and Canadians to come together to act in removing barriers and creating a more inclusive economy. Sign-up for our regular, reliable and professional commercial and residential pick-up service and we’ll send you information on your pick-up schedule, drop off your bags or collection bins and keep track of your collection and tax receipts easily. Proceeds go directly to Vecova’s programs, services and research for persons with disabilities.

Start collecting your recyclable bottles. We’ll drop off your pick-up supplies (a Bag Buddy stand and Vecova bags) within a week so you can start collecting right away.

We save you a trip! On scheduled pick-up days, we’ll come by and grab your bottles – and drop off any replacement supplies, as needed.
