Vecova was also acknowledged as Varsity’s ‘Unique Feature’ in Avenue Magazine for its accessible programs and services for persons of all abilities. Vecova is an assigned polling station for many people living in Calgary Confederation. 

Check your voter information card or visit elections.ca to find out where your assigned polling station is.

Vecova’s helping bring hockey without barriers to Alberta!

 

Variety – The Children’s Charity of Alberta will be facilitating Volt Hockey at Vecova. Volt Hockey is a unique adaptation to the sport, which allows those who have complex needs to be able to play. Vecova is providing the space to Variety Alberta at a reduced rate, to help them get this exciting program going and to help make the program sustainable.

 

“Vecova is excited to partner with great organizations like Variety Alberta to create inclusive opportunities and bring accessible and engaging activities to the community,” Tom Naested, Director of Wellness Services, said. “Programs like these are invaluable for removing barriers and increasing the health and well-being of people of all abilities.”
