Adult Adapted Aquatics: Designed for people with special needs, this new program will center around three main activities – Water Polo, Snorkeling, and the ‘Swim to Survive’ certificate. Participants will improve their aquatic skills and safety knowledge while having fun learning and playing within a team environment.


Join us every Wednesday afternoon to participate in a variety of games and activities. Through special projects and meaningful social opportunities, this club will give you a chance to be a part of something unique and fun in a safe and supportive environment. *Participants must attend with a support person

Coffee, Chat and Games will be your new favorite way to start the week! This unstructured social time is a great opportunity to meet new people, play fun games, and engage with others while discussing interesting topics and current events. We’re excited to see you!

Coffee is provided. Bringing your own reusable mug is encouraged. *Participants must attend with a support person.


Join us for a mid week pick me up with Coffee and Music. This unstructured social time is a great opportunity to visit with others, enjoy your favourite music, and get up on the dance floor. You can even request your favourite songs! Coffee is provided. Bringing your own reusable mug is encouraged. *Participants must attend with a support person.


This social-educational based program will provide individuals with the opportunity to meet new people and explore different activities. Each week participants will learn and explore new activities and discuss a variety of topics with people of similar interests and abilities in a safe and supportive environment. This is a full day program with an hour break for lunch.


In the mornings we will have group discussions, table challenges and crafts, and then get out of our chairs with a fun and interactive Body Break. After lunch we enjoy a variety of physical activities including floor bowling and our famous Rubber Chicken Chuck! Bring your lunch and join us for a day friendship, crafts, games, learning opportunities and physical activities.

Gentle Adapted Fitness is for those with developmental disabilities who would like to get fit and have fun! Join Caroline for an engaging seated workout that focuses on experiencing gentle movements and enjoyable games with the assistance of a support worker.


Each week will begin with a gentle head to toe warm up and then introduces some basic strength exercises using hand weights or other equipment. We will also work on improving our grip strength, hand-eye coordination and motor stills through fun games. Light stretching will end each class.


Do as much or as little as is comfortable for you that day. Join us for an enjoyable 60 minutes of healthy movement and great music!


Are you looking for a safe and inclusive space to exercise and to work on your fitness goals in an energetic and highly motivational environment? Come and join us for an hour of fun, social and effective fitness! In this program you and your support person will be provided with the knowledge and confidence to correctly use the equipment we have in our Strength and Conditioning Room. This includes treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent bicycles, NuStep machines, free weights, and more.

Program Highlights:

· A dedicated weekly time slot to focus on improving overall wellness and health.

· Orientation provided for safe use machines and equipment. · Assistance in creating simple fitness routines.

· An enjoyable, social environment with music.

· Participants will be provided a log book, collect motivational stickers and have a record of their goals and /or accomplishments.

· A fun and interactive warm up and cool down led by our program leader.

Want to exercise your brain and have some fun? Join The Early Stage Dementia & Wellness Program and see the effectiveness a tailored physical and cognitive exercise program has for you! If you are age 65 or older with a dementia-related condition, you are welcome and encouraged to register and attend these twice-weekly sessions. This fun and dynamic program will provide physical and cognitive exercises tailored to your needs, as well as plenty of social opportunities to meet and interact with new people. Included with the program is a valuable and informative weekly caregiver support group, led by our senior clinical psychologist.
