Our therapeutic approaches are diverse and our clinicians are trained in a variety of interventions and modalities of therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. We provide support for a variety of presenting concerns such as (but not limited to): anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma, emotional regulation skills, family dynamics, relational health, boundaries, body image & self-esteem, substance use, suicidal ideation, and stress management. We prioritize inclusion, connectedness, and maintaining a social justice perspective that honours each individual’s unique circumstances, abilities, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities or expressions.

Our team provides support for a variety of presenting concerns such as (but not limited to): anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma, emotional regulation skills, family dynamics, relational health, boundaries, body image & self-esteem, substance use, suicidal ideation, and stress management. Our clinicians are trained in a diversified range of interventions and modalities of therapy to meet each client’s unique needs including (but not limited to): Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). We prioritize inclusion, connectedness, and  maintaining a social justice perspective that honours each individual’s unique circumstances, abilities, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities or expressions.

To access our services, simply speak with your PDD Disability Caseworker to complete and send the referral form. If you’re not part of the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) program, reach out to Community Connect YYC for access. 

Eligibility: 

  • PDD-funded clients can be referred to through their caseworker. 
  • Those without PDD funding can access counselling through Community Connect YYC if they are a person with a disability, a caregiver, or a person with traumatic histories impacting their daily living.  Visit YYC for more information and booking.
