Inclusive, appropriate, safe and affordable housing for persons with disabilities.
Vecova helps persons with disabilities find a home. We provide housing support services that gives them choice, freedom, safety and inclusion in their community.
We provide access to a range of housing models that respond to the changing needs and varying degrees of support needed.

Options:
Cluster Housing

Multiple individuals (four or more) in close proximity to one another and form a distinct community. This housing support model can be located either as a part of a campus development (three or more houses in a single site location) or in a cluster of houses within a community. Homes can range in size and be either publicly or privately owned/leased.

Group Living
Benefits
Familiarity: provides individuals with appropriate and informed living support services from people they know and have a relationship with while their regular caregivers are away
Caregiver Support: provides a break for caregivers
Expanded Network: promotes expansion of individuals social network and community participation
Stability: promotes increased housing stability
Home Sharing

One to two individuals share a home with a family or an individual who also provides individual support. This model is a deliberate coming together of individuals committed to sharing their lives with one another. Homes can range in size and are privately owned/rented.

Independant Living

Individuals live in their own home (privately rented/owned) alone or with a roommate, partner or family member. Housing support services are separate from housing model.

Respite (In-home and out of home)

Short-term and temporary housing support services for individuals whose regular housing support services are temporarily unable to provide support. These services can be provided in or out of the individual’s home and are separate from the housing model.
