Funded by the City of Calgary Family & Community Support Services (FCSS), a joint municipal-provincial program supporting preventive social services, Vecova is proud to offer this initiative. Designed for newcomers facing employment barriers, the program provides tailored support in job search essentials, including resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace readiness. Through partnerships with local employers, it connects participants to meaningful job opportunities, fostering long-term success.
We Provide:
Assessment and planning through career exploration and individual support.
Job search and skills training including essential skills and life skills training.
Workplace experience opportunities and ongoing one-on-one mentorship.
On-the-job and retention support including workplace integration.
