Parent & Baby Fitness – Dryland & AquaFit

Discover our Parent and Baby Fitness classes, designed to help parents maintain their physical fitness while bonding with their little ones. Led by a certified Fitness Instructor, these classes offer structured fitness routines that integrate interactive movements with your child. Whether you prefer Aquatic Fitness in the pool or Dryland Fitness in a gym setting, our classes provide a supportive environment where both parent and child can stay active together. 

*Some Aquatic Fitness classes offer a Water Adventure option for parents with multiple young children. This service provides childcare for an additional toddler during your Parent and Baby Aquatic workout, allowing you to focus on your fitness class with your Baby while your child/children are cared for. 

*Please note that these are Fitness classes, NOT Swimming Lessons

Parent and Baby comes in two streams: Aquatics and Land.

NOTE: Modifications of exercises are provided to take special consideration of any injuries and limitations you may have. Do as much or as little as is comfortable for you that day.

Have a super fun time in Vecova’s wonderful and warm 33 degree pool with your baby and get a great total body workout! Babies are in floatation boats right next to you and get to enjoy water toys and the interesting movement of the water.

Each week starts with a gentle warmup and progresses to a variety of strength and endurance exercises that involve the resistance of the water, using optional equipment such as water dumbbells, moving baby around the pool in the boat, or lifting baby into the water. A cooldown and stretch in the shallow end of the pool ends each class. Modifications for exercises are provided for more challenge if needed and this program is always self paced to ensure a comfortable experience.

Babies 4 – 18 months old with good head support are invited to join the fun!

Babies 4 – 18 months old with good head support are invited to join the fun!This program also offers the option of registering a second child in Water Adventures for in water fun and supervision while you exercise. There are only 5 spots available and the cost of this program is $35 for all 7 weeks!

Preschool Water Adventures is an optional bonus for parents registered in Parent and Baby Aquacize. While you are working out with baby, a second preschool child aged 3-5 can participate in a water playtime of their own. Children will be led by an instructor in the water to explore how much fun the warm pool can be! Each child’s interests are discovered to determine what activities and toys are introduced each week.

Get ready to challenge yourself by adding Aqua HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts to your week and you will love the results! HIIT is a total body workout with modifications provided to ensure that you receive a personal, challenging and safe experience each week.

Each week will start with a warm up and introduce a fresh and energizing HIIT workout to build cardiovascular fitness while working on your strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. Baby will be right next to you in a floatation boat with toys enjoying our warm pool! Equipment such as dumbbells might be added and are optional.

Babies ages 4 to 18 months with strong head support are welcome to attend.


Would you like to do a fresh and new total body workout each week? Take on the challenge! This baby-friendly environment allows you to focus on your workout with baby close by on a padded fitness mat. Each week offers a lot of variety to get fit and have fun! Vecova has a huge supply of fitness equipment such as weights, bands, steps, balls and more that will make each self paced workout effective. Each week includes a warm up, cardiovascular exercise, muscle conditioning, core strengthening, and flexibility for a super productive 45 minutes.

Join other motivated parents to get fit and have fun! Children up to 24 months are welcome.

Get ready to challenge yourself by adding HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts to your week and you?ll love the results!Each week will introduce a fresh HIIT workout including Tabata, pyramids, every minute on the minute, as many rounds as possible, circuits, kickboxing and more to build cardiovascular endurance, strength, balance and flexibility.

HIIT is a total body workout with modifications provided to ensure that you receive a personal, challenging and safe experience each week.Babies up to 24 months are welcome.

Are you looking to get in shape and have fun? Join our super motivating Tabata program! Tabata is a very effective workout the uses 20 seconds of self paced high intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of recovery repeated 8 times for a total of 4 minutes. Repeat all of this 6 times and get ready to burn some serious calories!

You’ll experience a fresh and exciting workout each week that begins with a full body warmup followed by 6 Tabata circuits, a cooldown, core strengthening, and flexibility to complete a very productive 45 minutes!

Modifications will be provided for all exercises so that you can choose the level that is most suitable for your current level of fitness. Tabata is a great combination of cardio, strength, and fun with other parents!

Children up to 24 months are welcome.

Have you always wanted to learn ballet or revisit the dance skills your already have? Join us to explore ballet basics in an encouraging learning environment with baby close by on a padded fitness mat.

Ballet Fit is a progressive program that introduces basic steps, practices them with piano music, and then combines base movements into choreography to encourage confidence and success. You will learn how to engage the correct muscles to move feet, legs and arms for a great core workout!

This is a self-paced program with not experience required. Meet other parents and get fit and have fun!

Babies up to 12 months old.
