It’s never too late to learn a valuable life-saving skill! Lifesaving Society’s Adult swimming lessons are designed for swimmers of all levels, whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine advanced techniques. Our Adult 1, 2, and 3 classes offer a supportive, no-pressure environment where you can build your confidence in the water at your own pace. From learning the basics like floating and kicking in Adult 1 to mastering advanced strokes, dives, and endurance in Adult 3, there’s a class for everyone. Our skilled instructors will guide you every step of the way, helping you improve your fitness, water safety, and swimming ability. Sign up today and take the plunge—it’s never too late to start your swimming journey!

Adult 1: Our Adult 1 program is perfect for those who are new to swimming or are still learning the basics. You’ll discover the art of floating on both your front and back, and we’ll guide you towards conquering a 10-15 meter glide on both front and back.
For those looking for an extra challenge, you’ll learn how to safely jump into the water from the edge and retrieve objects from chest-deep water. Plus, get ready to boost your fitness level as you perfect your flutter kick and practice front crawl and back crawl with our interval training, 4 sets of 9-12 meters.

Adult 2: Our Adult 2 swim program is for intermediate swimmers looking to increase their swimming skills. You’ll learn how to make your front crawl and back crawl more effective, working you up to an interval set of 4×25 meters. Participants will also learn the basics of breaststroke and the mechanics of diving. For those looking for an extra challenge, you will learn how to tread water in the deep end and do handstands in the shallow end.

Adult 3: Our Adult 3 swim program is for advanced swimmers looking for critiques on their swimming strokes. Brace yourself for a challenging 300 meter workout, 4×50 meter interval training, and sprints. You will fine tune your eggbeater (treading water) technique and perfect a few different kinds of dives. For an extra challenge participants can learn how to retrieve a sunken object from a distance of 5-10 meters and learn how to do front and back somersaults in the water!
