Your children are going to love Vecova’s Summer Day Camps! They’ll spend the day doing fun, inclusive and exciting activities, including swimming in our warm saltwater pool. There’s Something for Every Body at Vecova – including your kids!
Vecova’s Summer Day Camps provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment where safety and fun for campers is our highest priority.
Every week is filled with learning, crafts, games, activities and lots of fun geared toward age-appropriate child development.
Campers will get to enjoy an awesome swimming playtime in our warm water pool throughout the week. The pool is reserved for the exclusive use of camps for 1 hour per day. Life jackets and increased leader ratios are provided to ensure safety.
Age Categories
VECOVA CAMPS:
Pathfinders: 3 to 5* years
Adventurers: 5** to 6 years
Explorers: 7 to 9 years
Trailblazers: 10 to 12 years
*5 year olds who haven’t completed kindergarten can register for our Pathfinders age category.
**5 year olds who have completed kindergarten can register for our Adventurers age category.
Our Standards
Our Camp Leaders are required to complete 2 weeks of training, which includes: inclusion training, aquatic safety training, emergency response training and much more. We strive to ensure our leaders have the necessary training to create a fun, safe and memorable experience for all the children.
Inclusion and Accessibility
Vecova’s inclusive facility welcomes families and children who may require support while enjoying our programming. Vecova cannot provide 1:1 support for children attending our day camps and some field trips may not be fully accessible. Please call us to discuss your child’s individual needs prior to registering for any of our day camps.
Offsite Trips
Each Thursday we will be offering a field trip! Please be on time this day to avoid missing the bus. Bus leaves at 9:30am and returns to Vecova at 3:30pm. There is no swimming this day. An email will be sent before your camp starts with more information.
