December 3, 2021 is International Day of Persons with Disabilities! Proclaimed in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly, this day recognizes disability inclusion as an essential condition to upholding human rights and sustainable development.

For over 50 years, Vecova has provided programs and services to people of all abilities to support our vision of #InclusionForEveryone. Join us today as we celebrate the achievements of persons with disabilities at virtual events around Alberta.

An IDPD Calgary free virtual event will take place today and we’re looking forward to their great lineup, including Paralympian Zak Madell, local entrepreneur Sean Crump, a drum circle with JB Music Therapy and more!

Join us today to celebrate the contributions of persons with disabilities and recognize #InclusionForEveryone as an essential condition to build a future for people of all abilities where everyone is valued, belongs and thrives.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
