Mask use at Vecova’s Aquatics, Health and Fitness

On September 3, 2021, the Alberta Government re-implemented the health order that requires mask use in all indoor public spaces. While health guidelines, including mask wearing, have continued at Vecova, we would like to remind our consumers of these masking protocols.

Masks must be worn in Vecova’s public spaces. This includes the reception area, hallways, change rooms, pool deck, locker rooms, spectator areas, entrances, etc.

Marks are also required in the following situations:

  • Moving between activities
  • Checking in at our main reception
  • Spectating activities

Masks are not required when participating in any physical activity. This includes while swimming, during fitness classes, in the locker room showers, etc. Masks are also not required when moving from one piece of fitness equipment to another during a workout. However, we do recommend that you stay two metres apart when possible.

Other exceptions to our Masking protocols are:

  • Those under the age of 2
  • Those with a medical exception

We will continue to monitor and respond to public health orders to ensure the health and safety of our community. Thank you for your continued support and patience. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us.

Regards,
