We’re excited to be able to introduce a new low intensity class – Multi-Level Yoga – to our Aquatics, Health and Fitness community! Multi-Level Yoga is a great way to discover the benefits of practicing yoga. Participants will explore yoga postures, breath awareness and relaxation techniques. The class focus is to optimize mobility in the spine, shoulders, neck and hip.
This class welcomes people in all levels and abilities. Participants are required to bring their own yoga mat and a mask must be worn at all times. This class will begin on March 11 for 8 weeks. Registration will open on March 9 at 10:00 am.
This new class is in alignment with Step 2 of the Government of Alberta’s public health measures. These measures allow Vecova to have group low intensity fitness activities that are “not focused specifically on cardio, that have a low depth and rate of respiration.”
We look forward to being able to open more opportunities for wellness soon. We will also continue to evaluate some of our programs to see what we can do to offer them safely.
