Dear Vecova Community,
As you might have heard, on June 9, 2020, the Government of Alberta announced that indoor recreation and fitness facilities are now part of Stage 2 of the Relaunch Strategy to begin on June 12, 2020. While we are excited to welcome you all back, we are not ready to open just yet, and we will not be opening our Aquatics, Health and Fitness facilities on June 12, 2020. Our tentative date of reopening is September 1, 2020.
We want to thank you for your patience and loyalty. We know the programs and services Vecova’s Aquatics, Health and Fitness provides are of value to the community and many of you are ready to come back. The safety and wellbeing of everyone in our community remains our top priority. We are working to update our space, our protocols and our programming to provide a safe and enjoyable experience where everyone is welcome.
We also know our Vecova community is made up of kind and caring people who know how important it is for kids, families and individuals to have a safe place to connect, belong and thrive. As we look to re-open our facilities to the community, we know that the need for financial assistance is growing and the generosity of our community members is needed and appreciated more than ever. Please consider making a donation to Vecova at this time if you are able.
We will re-open our Aquatics, Health and Fitness facilities in a phased approach that minimizes the spread of COVID-19 and maintains a healthy and safe environment for all.
