Vecova Recreation would like to welcome a new program: Empower Abilities.
Empower Abilities is a program for children and youth (3 to 21 years of age) with mild to moderate motor delays and disabilities. The program assists them in developing the capacity, skill and confidence for community sport, fitness and recreational activities.
Vecova will be offering two Empower Abilities programs in Winter 2016.

The Empower Abilities clinic space is located at Vecova Centre for Disability Services and Research, Calgary (3304-33 Street NW).
The Empower Abilities space is child-and-adolescent friendly and houses a variety of playful therapy equipment to inspire children to be challenged, to develop, and to grow in their motor and play skills. Empower Abilities programs utilize specialized weight and cardio equipment designed specifically for kids and adolescents, where appropriate.
Strength training equipment designed specifically for tweens and teens!
A unique line of child – and adolescent – specific resistance weight equipment used to complement therapy if deemed beneficial and appropriate to accomplish the objectives of the session.
