You can designate Vecova as the owner or beneficiary of a life insurance policy. There are many options available to you for making a gift using life insurance policies as a vehicle. This may afford you tax advantages and allow you to give a larger gift than you might otherwise be able to.

Gifts of personal property such real estate or art work may be given and tax receipted right away, while you retain the right to use the property during your lifetime. Once an irrevocable gift is made to Vecova, a tax receipt for the present value of the residual interest in the asset donated will be issued.

If we do not have an immediate need for a specific property we can still accept the gift as a charitable contribution and, consistent with the wishes of the donor, sell the property and use the proceeds in support of our services. Donated real estate is subject to our acceptance policy and must be in good condition having a value applicable to our needs.
